Gelato

Gelato, also known as Larry Bird and Gelato #42, is a roughly equal indica-sativa hybrid (56% indica, 44% sativa) with a balanced euphoric-uplifting-relaxing effect.

Gelato is a cross of Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and measures between 15% and 20% THC content. It has been described as having a sweet aroma; a fruity, nutty, vanilla, and mint flavor, and relaxing, euphoric, and even arousing effects. Gelato could help alleviate stress and anxiety and help with chronic pain, fatigue, and insomnia. Variations of Gelato #42 include Gelato #3, Gelato #33, Gelato #41 and Gelato #45.

Growing

The Gelato marijuana strain is not the most challenging cultivar of cannabis to grow and has a good level of pest resistance. However, it is sensitive to humidity and temperature changes, so it may be better for those with a few grows under their belt than those who are brand new to growing cannabis. Gelato is better suited for indoor growing. Expect yields of around 17 ounces per square meter.
