    • Conduct keyword research and content optimization, monitoring performance with tools like Google Analytics, App Annie, and Sensor Tower.

    Our Ideal Candidate: Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in content marketing and organic growth.
    • Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, and ASO best practices.

    Content Writer

    Remote Worker - N/A

    As a subject-matter Content Writer, you’ll be responsible for working with the content, marketing, and SEO teams to develop and curate compelling and engaging content that educates people about the power of cannabis.

    In this role, your duties will include writing content of varying types, including blog content, marketing content, video scripts, infographic copy, and more. In addition, you’ll work closely with the editorial team to revise and perfect content based on the goals and purpose of the work.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The Content Writer will perform the following responsibilities:

    • Write articles as assigned to meet specifications
    • Proofread all of your content for spelling, grammar, and syntax
    • Edit content structure for readability, intent, and content goals
    • Ensure that content meets Leafwell’s content and SEO standards as defined in the style guide
    • Update existing content as assigned
    • Verify content and information
    • Work with the editorial team to revise content as necessary
    • Manage a busy workload according to deadlines
    • Experience and Qualifications

    Required

    • High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (journalism, English, communications, digital marketing) preferred
    • Minimum of two years of portfolio work experience as a writer
    • Experience writing for editorial publications (either magazines or content brands, or on staff for a company with a content department)
    • Demonstrable experience writing for on-page SEO standards
    • Experience writing about health topics
    • Basic knowledge of SEO and industry best practices
