Green Crack

Green Crack, also known as Green Cush, Green Crush, or Mango Crack, is a sativa-dominant cannabis strain that is known for its energizing effects. Green Crack is a cross between Skunk #1 and an indica of unknown lineage and is 65% sativa and 35% indica. THC levels vary between 13% and 21%, averaging around 17%. Some suggest that Green Crack contains THCV as well.

Green Crack contains little CBD, measuring at around 0.2%. However, a CBD Green Crack strain crosses Green Crack and California Orange CBD and has a THC:CBD ratio of 1:2 (6% THC, 12% CBD).

Green Crack has a mango, tropical, and citrus flavor profile. Due to its effects, it may help manage ADHD, depression, anxiety, and stress. Although generally a sativa, there can be indica-dominant phenotypes, which could have more sedative effects.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder/Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD/ADD)

Utilizing CBD and other phytocannabinoids and terpenes in cannabis may help replace the lost endocannabinoids, helping treat pain and mood disorders associated with NF1 gene mutations. Using THC may help boost dopamine levels in the brain.

Medical cannabis may also help reduce the intake of stimulant medications. Terpenes like beta-caryophyllene and limonene may be beneficial for reducing the intake of stimulants and addiction in general.

Growing

Green Crack is usually a tall, lanky sativa that likes to grow outdoors in sunny, Mediterranean climates, where it can yield up to 20 ounces per plant. Green Crack does well indoors as well, and can yield 18 ounces per square meter using the “sea of green” (SoG) method. To reduce height in indoor settings, you may elect to use the “screen of green” (ScrOG) method and choose a more indica-dominant phenotype as the mother plant. Green Crack can do especially well in a greenhouse setting.

Compared to many other sativa-dominant varieties, Green Crack can flower in as little as eight weeks. However, Green Crack can be quite sensitive to nutrients, temperature and humidity, so it is not necessarily recommended for beginner gardeners. Green Crack requires a higher amount of phosphorus than usual during the pre-flower stage, and you will want to be careful of over-watering and humidity levels in order to prevent mold and bud rot.

Height

Expect Green Crack to grow between 3 and 9 feet tall.

Humidity and Temperature

Green Crack does well in temperatures between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit (21 to 32 degrees Celsius), so this variety of cannabis can handle slightly higher temperatures compared to many others.

A humidity level of 50% in your grow room or space is ideal during the vegetative stage, but Green Crack is quite sensitive to humidity and over-watering, so you will want to ensure that the humidity is about 30% during flowering.
