Fruity Juice

Known for its sweet, fruity taste, the Fruity Juice strain (popularly known by a trademarked candy name) is a 55% Cannabis sativa and 45% Cannabis indica hybrid. Its THC level ranges from 18% to 20%, and its CBG and CBD levels test around 1%. This makes for a well-balanced strain (cultivar) with energetic, time-warping effects. Fruity Juice can help manage stress and inflammation, anxiety, and depression.

A cross between a pure Afghani indica and a pure Thai sativa — both iconic landrace strains — Fruity Juice comes from strong roots.

Because they are not the product of crossbreeding, landrace strains are either 100% sativa or 100% indica. These landrace strains are named after the original geographical home of the cannabis plant, which for sativa strains is equatorial countries, and for indica strains is Central Asia.

Fruity Juice was developed by the seed company Sensi Seeds and named after its delicious flavor profile. With strong tropical and sugary sweet flavors — and a hint of something sour — this strain is very popular among cannabis users and is great for beginners.

The effects of sativa and indica interact to create a high that starts with mood-boosting, cerebral effects that mellow into a state of relaxation over a few hours. Because it’s so well balanced, this strain will suit any time of day. It is important to note that some people experience a “time-warping” effect when using Fruity Juice, where three hours may feel like five minutes or vice versa.

Growing

The Fruity Juice plant characteristics are a blend of sativa and indica traits. It stretches tall and thin towards the sky like a typical sativa but flowers in just 50 to 60 days like an indica. Also, expect your Fruity Juice to turn into a large-leafed, thick-stemmed plant.

This strain can be grown indoors, outdoors, and in a greenhouse. Like many cannabis varieties, Fruity Juice will thrive in a Mediterranean-like environment when growing outdoors. Topping will help promote lateral growth and allow more plant access to direct sunlight. Expect yields of up to 21 ounces per plant in an outside environment and 17 ounces per square meter for indoor plants.

If you choose to grow your Fruity Juice indoors, you may want to try the “sea of green” growing method to increase the yield. This method involves shortening the plant’s growth phase to grow a larger number of smaller plants for a shorter time to increase overall yield. This method was coined “sea of green” because of the large grow rooms packed full of green cannabis plants.
