Dr. Deborah Garcia is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) who is dedicated to the field of medical cannabis, with over 15 years of experience helping patients manage complex conditions through cannabis-based therapies.
Dr. Garcia is deeply passionate about cannabis’s potential to provide relief from chronic pain, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other challenging diagnoses. Her work focuses on patient education, responsible certification, and integrating cannabis as a complementary tool within holistic care plans.
She currently partners with Leafwell and provides services at a cannabis clinic within a local cancer center.
Originally from San Diego, California, Dr. Garcia has lived in San Francisco, Seattle, and Albuquerque, but she proudly calls Albuquerque home. Outside of her professional work, she is a devoted mom to her son and two lovable boxers. She enjoys traveling and scrapbooking in her free time.
