Urinary incontinence is a condition where one is unable to control their bladder and passes urine unintentionally. Urinary incontinence is usually the result of weakened or damaged muscles, particularly pelvic floor muscles and the urethral sphincter.

There is some evidence that cannabis can help treat incontinence in those with multiple sclerosis (MS). The bladder contains many CB1 and CB2 receptors, and cannabinoids can permeate the system and help to improve cell function and decrease stress urinary incontinence.
