Cannabis para Dolor agudo o dolor postoperatorio

Last updated on Oct 7, 2024

Much is written about cannabis’s ability to treat chronic pain, but what about acute pain, which is sudden, sharp pain that lasts less than six months, or pain after surgery? Well, for immediate relief of extreme pain or pain due to surgery, cannabis is perhaps less useful than more powerful, numbing analgesics and opioids – areas where more powerful painkillers, steroidal and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are needed.

However, for post-surgery pain, cannabis may prove more useful and an excellent way to reduce or replace opioid intake.
