In 2015, Governor Bill Haslam signed Senate Bill 280 into law against his earlier opposition.
Those with severe conditions like epilepsy or late-stage cancer may possess and use THC-free, non-psychoactive CBD oil if the oil was purchased out of state.
How to qualify
You must be 18 to qualify for medical CBD for yourself and be a legal resident of Tennessee.
Those under 18 will need parental consent to qualify for medical CBD, and you will also need to provide proof of ID, residency, and medical records.
